Juan Enriquez talks about the breakthrough in genome science and where we are going. This is another example of the great talks at Ted.com
This evening we took the boys to Haar’s drive-in movie theater. It was a wonderful evening. Charlie was enraptured the entire time. On getting ready to go we were bathing the boys. Sam was running around saying I am chocolate. He would repeat it and then say because I am so sweet. He is correct but again m0re laughter throughout the whole house.
This morning I read to the family the story about a boy hit by a meteorite. Alex heard it was a pea sized meteorite. He said wouldn’t it be funny if there was an alien inside of it aka War of the Worlds and it said “we come in peas…”
Big smiles and laughter this morning.
This is one of the first talks I watched on Ted.com. It is an excellent breakdown of the technologies we as a society can implement to reduce the cost of our technology use. Primarily converting our automobile technologies to be more fuel efficient.
Enjoy.
Spring is here and the rain falls.
There are thunderstorms almost every night in Central Pennsylvania. The grass is growing faster than the cutting. The children are out of school and the summer vacation has begun. I am finishing some humanity credits while taking Modern Physics. If all is well we will be able to travel to the ocean’s relaxing shores after the Summer Semester. And the clocks tick and time passes.
